  • A complex Admiralty Court matter involving OFAC sanction, in which Arun Kasi & Co represents the cargo owner. Proceedings are underway both at Admiralty Court and the Court of Appeal. Linda assists Dr Kasi in this ongoing matter, in which US$28 m is at stake.
  • A complex Admiralty Court matter involving a not-common dispute as to ownership of a large commercial vessel recently purchased for US$20 m. Arun Kasi & Co represents the owners. Linda assists Dr Kasi in this ongoing matter.

  • A Commercial Court trial involving a US$0.6 m claim by the client-shipbroker for his commission against a subcontractor in Taipower project and defending the claim on the sub-contractor’s counterclaim with various heads of claims. Linda assisted Dr Kasi in the proceedings, in which the team succeeded in obtaining the relief for the client and defeating all the heads of counterclaim.
  • An complex Admiralty Court matter, in which Arun Kasi & Co defends an insurer on a US$0.6 m cargo claim (shortage claim), in which various unprecedented questions of law have arisen, and lays a counterclaim for the insurer for refund of some shortage claims previously paid. Linda assists Dr Kasi in the proceedings.
  • An Admiralty Court matter, in which Arun Kasi & Co represented a shipping agent in a claim for their claim for agency fees and their defence to a counterclaim against a sub-contractor in the Taipower project. Linda assisted Dr Arun Kasi in the proceedings, in which US$0.5 m was at stake, and the team successfully obtained the relief for the client.
